Paving Contract: Perform approx. 13,784 SY of FDR-Pulverization, approx. 1,152 tons of 9.5mm Asphalt, approx. 3,706 tons of 19mm Asphalt-Fine Graded, approx. 993 ton of 2A Subbase, Install 1 Stnd Inlet box w/ grate, approx. 360 LF of pipe replacement, and approx. 800LF of ditch cleaning. Bond Notes: Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contracts is required of all bidders. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. Owner Rights: The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act is applicable to this project. FULL DEPTH RECLAMATION (FDR) PULVERIZATION This work consists of the in-place pulverization and uniform blending of existing roadway surface materials and a predetermined thickness of underlying material creating a homogenous mixture of reclaimed base material. The work also consists of shaping, finishing, fine grading, and compaction of the reclaimed base material. All work to be done in accordance with Pub 447 section MS-0370-0005.
