This project on KTA (I-470) in Shawnee County is for Signing Improvements westbound between MM 177.0 and MM 178.2. This project includes installing one overhead sign structure, footings and median barrier, relocating a side mount sign, and replacing structural sign panels on side mount and overhead signing and all other work shown in the plans. The award of each contract shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Standard Specifications of the Kansas Department of Transportation, edition of 2015, and will be based upon the summation of the products of the unit prices and the approximate quantities. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of bid and made payable to the Kansas Turnpike Authority as guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and give a performance bond as required if awarded the contract. All blank spaces for bid prices must be filled in, according to the directions on online , and the bid form must be fully completed and executed when submitted.
