Rehabilitation of runway to include construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described in the Contract Documents. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract. Estimate: Base Bid: $240,000 / Alternate 1: $35,000 / Alternate 2: $35,000 Time of Construction: Twenty (20) Calendar Days for the Base Bid, an additional five (5) calendar days for Alternate No. 1 and an additional five (5) calendar days for Alternate No. 2 DBE Goal: 6.76% Liquidated Damages: $500 per calendar Day The Town of Vivian, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award.
