Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dupont, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Base Bid: approximately 3,500 S.Y. of 1.5" Depth Milling, 3,500 S.Y. of 9.5 mm Superpave WMA Wearing Course, 350 S.Y of Pavement Base Replacement, 1,000 Ton of 19 MM Superpave Leveling Course, installation of 1 ADA Ramp, and 4 Stormwater Inlets, manhole and inlet adjustments. The bids will be discussed for award at the Dupont Borough regular scheduled council meeting at 6:00P.M. on June 11, 2024. Bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified as specified in section 102.01, of Publication 408. Contractors qualifying as subcontractors may submit bids as a prime contractor, consistent with their qualifications and as specified in section 108.01, Publication 408. A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project. The bid must be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to Dupont Borough. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof or to waive any informalities in the bidding. If written notice of the acceptance of this Bid is mailed or delivered to the undersigned within sixty (60) or at any time thereafter before the Bid is withdrawn, the undersigned agrees to execute and deliver the Agreement in the form prescribed by the Dupont Borough. The Bidder, in accordance with the Presidents Executive Order 11246, will be required to ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against on the basis of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin in employment or the provision of services. Bidders are advised that PA Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates must be paid to workers employed on this project and are incorporated in the Contract Documents.
