This project includes but is not limited to providing the construction of a complete installation of five (5) "Monument Signs" at locations within the City, work is to include all traffic control, demolition, erosion and sediment control, clearing/trimming, grading, signage, landscaping and all other activities and appurtenances to provide a complete "Forest Park - Monument Signs" project in Forest Park, Georgia. The activity is proposed to be funded with local City of Forest Park funds. This project will be permitted by the City of Forest Park and the selected contractor must comply with local and state laws including but not limited to provisions covering construction contracts. The Bid Bond may be in the form of a bond issued by a surety acceptable to the City or a cashier's check made payable to the City of Forest Park, Georgia. The entire Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Forest Park as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a contract Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the Bid and provide insurance coverage as required in the Contract Documents. *The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities, technicalities, and formalities.
