The Work Consists of Furnishing and Installing All Materials, Labor, Tools, Equipment, and Related Services Required for a Complete Project. This Project Includes but is Not Limited to Providing the Construction of and Complete Installation of Multiple Areas of Landscape Components Within the Roadway Medians on Forest Parkway (Sr 331) Within the City, Work is to Include All Traffic Control, Demolition, Erosion and Sediment Control, Clearing/trimming, Grading, Landscaping and All Other Activities and Appurtenances to Provide a Complete forest Park Forest Parkway (Sr 331) Median Landscape Project in Forest Park, Georgia. The Activity is Proposed to Be Funded With Splost Funds. This Project Will Be Permitted by the City of Forest Park and the Georgia Department of Transportation. The Selected Contractor Must Comply With Local and State Laws Including but Not Limited to Provisions Covering Construction Contracts. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The Bid Bond may be in the form of a bond issued by a surety acceptable to the City or a cashier's check made payable to the City of Forest Park, Georgia. The entire Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Forest Park as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a contract Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the Bid and provide insurance coverage as required in the Contract Documents.
