Renovation of a municipal facility in Syracuse, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Hamilton County requests formal bids to replace siding, windows and concrete work at the VIP Center. For clarification on details, please contact John Simon, 620-384-4172 All siding and windows have been selected, and bidders need to coordinate with Wood-n-Post Lumber for costs of those materials. No contracts will be awarded until final evaluation of bids has been conducted and approval granted by the Hamilton County Commission. Hamilton County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and make award(s) as deemed to be in the best interests of Hamilton County. Please contact the County Clerk's Office at 620-384-5629 with any questions Windows o All windows on the north end are to be removed. The wall is to be framed in, insulated, sheeted, and sided. Inside will be sheet rocked, finished, and painted to match the room. (R) The remaining six triple hung windows will be replaced with 2 fixed/picture windows with a casement window in the middle. The double office window' on the west side will be 2 casement windows. Interior side ofwindows need to be trimmed, sheetrock repaired and painted. Siding (R) All siding is to be removed. (R) All rot and water damage will be fixed. (R) Seal the gap between sidewalk and building. << Install house wrap around exterior of building where old siding has been removed. o Install drop edge to go between siding and sidewalk. (R) Put up new siding and trim. Rain Gutters (R) Remove gutters to fix rot and water damage on fascia, replace any damaged pieces. (R) Paint fascia, reinstall gutter, and seal gutter seams. All siding and windows have been selected at Wood-'N-Post. Please coordinate with Donnie Miller. Concrete (R) On the west side ofthe building where both ofthe rock beds are; the north and south ofthe main entrance. (R) Rock will need to be removed, along with sidewalk and curb, going from north side walk to the exit on the south side, (R) Concrete will be poured to fill this in, sloping away from the building to the parking lot. (R) Will blend the entrance and sidewalk smoothly. (R) Concrete will be anchored to building and sidewalk to prevent settling. << Sidewalk needs to be poured to meet ADA compliance. (R) Concrete will be 4" thick with wire mesh.
