The project area is located on the East side of Tracy Blvd. between Valpico Road and Whispering Wind Drive. Work shall include excavation, grading, and sidewalk installation. The planned timeframe for work is between August 2024 and October 2024. The Contract time to be sixty (60) consecutive calendar days. This Project requires a valid California contractor's license for the following classification(s): Class A, General Engineering Contractor's License. DIR Registration. Contractor must submit proof of DIR Registration with Bid Proposal. This Project is subject to the prevailing wage requirements, available at City Engineer's office or online at online, applicable to the locality in which the Work is to be performed. Bonds. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the maximum Contract Price, and a warranty bond for 10% of the maximum Contract Price. Substitution of Securities. Substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments is permitted under Public Contract Code section 22300. Subcontractor List. A completed Subcontractor List form must be submitted with the Bid Proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
