The purpose of the investigation is to confirm the subsurface parameters and to provide design recommendations for roadways and runway pavement design. ENG-TECH understands that the freezing index at the site is 1726 degree days. 1.1 Scope of Work ENG-TECH completed the following scope of work: o A review of existing information about the site provided by the client. o Clearance of public underground utilities. o A test hole drilling and soil sampling program. o A laboratory testing program. o Survey of the test hole UTM coordinates obtained by means of GPS survey equipment. o An engineering report outlining the geotechnical investigation and recommendations as outlined in the introduction.
