Site work for a water / sewer project in Virden, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work involves the installation of ~335 m of 200 mm diameter gravity sewer replacement, manholes, service connections and associated works. The work also includes ~335 m of 150 mm diameter watermain replacement, service connections and associated works. The work takes place along Routledge Street in Virden, Manitoba. 1 This section refers to the location, protection, removal and replacement of existing structures and utility works. 2 Interpret existing structures as being all existing pipes, ducts, ditches or other works forming a part of sewerage, drainage, water, telephone, electrical, gas or other utility systems as well as sidewalks, curbs, poles, fences, buildings and other manmade things that may be encountered during construction. 1 The extent of the work as hereinafter described shall include: 1 The supply and spreading of black loam 2 The supply, placement and rolling of seed in seeded areas 3 The fertilization and watering of the completed seeded areas. All in accordance with this specification and to the satisfaction of the Consultant.
