This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery ("CPPD") on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation. ("Owner") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for complete modernization of a single hydraulic elevator as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work"). The work is being done in a two storey building located at 257 Hargrave Street, Virden, MB. Work site location will be occupied during construction. Anticipated Execution of Agreement October 2024 Where the proponent's Base Bid Price is $100,000 or greater, a performance bond (Schedule A or a form satisfactory to Manitoba) of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract price Where the Proponent's Base Bid Price is $100,000 or greater, a labour and materials payment bond (Schedule B or a form satisfactory to Manitoba) of a company registered to conduct the business of surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract price.
