The United States Forest Service has a need for the Bitterroot Rombo Campground Shoreline Stabilization project located in the Bitterroot National Forest. Period of Performance: 09/20/2024 to 11/15/2024 PROJECT LOCATION To reach the project area from Darby, MT: Drive south on US 93 approximately 4.1 miles, Turn right on State Hwy 473 (West Fork Road). Drive approximately 17.9 miles, turn right into the Rombo Campground and the project location is approximately 0.25 miles ahead. C.3 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT The Magnitude of Construction for this project is Between $25,000 and $100,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Description of Work This project consists of the shoreline stabilization of the West Fork Bitterroot River near the Rombo Campground. Work will include but is not limited to, erosion control measures, excavation, temporary river diversion, bio-engineered stabilization, large woody structure assembly and all other work items necessary to complete the projects in accordance with the plans and specifications.
