Demolition, site work and renovation of a civil project in Darby, Montana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project includes the removal of sludge from all three cells of the lagoon and dewatering, hauling, and disposal of the sludge through land application. It includes the demolition of 4 existing outlet structures, and the construction of 4 new outlet structures. The project includes demolition of the existing lift station, installation of a new manhole, installation of 134 feet of new force main, and construction of a new CMU process building which will enclose a new wet well, pump station, a mechanical screen, and instrumentation and controls. The collection system improvements include removal and disposal of 1,040 feet of 8-inch asbestos cement pipe, installation of approximately 1,040 feet of 8-inch PVC SDR 35 sewer main pipe, replacement of 10 manholes, cleaning and videoing of force main, cleaning and videoing of approximately 4,700 feet of sewer main pipe, and repair of leaking sewer main and leaking sewer service connections.
