Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Fairfax, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Fairfax is inviting licensed contractors to bid on the following paving to be completed by October 1, 2024: 1. Machine Pave Recreation Path 1.25", type 3, single course 180 ton for .5 miles 2. Machine Pave Brick Church Rd, 1.5", type 3, single course, 1,100 ton for 1.o miles 3. Machine Pave Buck Hollow Rd, 1.5" type 3, single course, 660 ton for .6 miles 4. Machine Pave Goose Pond Rd. (.5mi) and River Rd. (.3mi), 1.5", type 3, single course, 770 ton for .8 miles A Certificate of Liability Insurance, Certificate of Workers Compensation, and a General Service agreement will be required and must be presented with all bids. All bidders must comply with the Vermont Town Highway Class 2 Roadway Program Grant and provide traffic control in compliance with MUTCD standards. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder will be determined by the Total Base Bid. The above price shall include all labor, materials, removal, overhead, profit, insurance, etc. to cover the finished work as specified. The above price shall include all traUic control. The Town of Fairfax will evaluate proposals in accordance with the town purchasing policy and reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
