Reference Number 0000273410 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/07/19 02:00:00 PM EDT The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for Snow Removal and Salting Services such that the successful proponent will have ability to provide all labor, materials, and equipment that are required to provide complete and continuous snow removal of parking lots, walkways, and exterior sidewalks, on an as needed basis. All work shall comply with health and safety requirements throughout the duration of the term. The goal is maintaining a high level of safety at Main Campus (McMaster University) and David Braley Health Science Centre (DBHSC), and parking lot at 22 Bay St S. while minimizing the potential risk of failure, reducing number of accidents, minimizing costs and meeting environmental regulations. The term of this agreement is for an initial term of three (3) years with an option to renew for up to an additional two (2) years to be renewed on a yearly basis as required, at McMaster's Sole discretion and supplier's performance. The anticipated start date of the contract is September 2024, subject to change at McMaster's sole discretion. In addition to any other express rights or any other rights which may be implied in the circumstances, the University reserves the right to: accept or reject a Proposal if only one Proposal is submitted.
