Renovation of a fire / police facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia State Police Headquarters, 7700 Midlothian Headquarters, North Chesterfield, Virginia 23235 If the work is not corrected within 24 hours after notification, the Department may arrange for the corrective work to be accomplished by other sources and reserves the right to deduct that portion from the amount due the Contractor The total amount of carpet required for this project is approximately 22,000 square feet of carpet tiles. The Virginia State Police has approximately 9,000 square feet of MOHAWK - SHIFTED FOCUS INDIGO 12” x 36” carpet tile (88975/585) on hand to be used in this project.. The Contractor shall furnish the remaining needed carpet as specified above to complete this project. Different dye lots shall not be mixed in the same space. The Contractor is responsible for taking/verifying all measurements at the Mandatory PreBid Conference. Contractor shall be responsible for moving/relocating existing furniture and cabinets to accommodate the work. VSP will be responsible for relocating “IT” equipment. Contractor shall minimize impact of work on normal day-to-day VSP facility operations through close coordination of the work with VSP Academy Staff.
