As of March 14, 2025, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Design is expected to be completed by fall 2025. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Northborough Phase I Downtown Streetscape Improvement Project. Question Deadline 07/19/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Questions Concerning This Rfp Shall Be Submitted in Writing to: Laurie Connors, Planning Director, Town Offices, 63 Main Street, Northborough, Ma 01532 or via Email to Lconnors@town.northborough.ma.us Written Responses to Questions Will Be Posted to the Town's Website at online. All Respondents Are Required to Respond in Written Form to the Request for Proposal (Rfp) and to Submit Documentation Substantiating Their Qualifications to Perform the Services Required. The Basic Tasks Associated With This Work Are Community Outreach, Development of an Existing Conditions Plan, Preliminary Design, and Final Design, Permitting, Preparation of Contract Documents, and Bid Assistance. Proposals Delivered After the Appointed Time and Date Will Not Be Considered. This Rfp Shall Be Governed by the Requirements of Mgl Chapter 30b, the Uniform Procurement Act. The Town Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Proposals as Determined to Be in the Best Interests of the Town and to Waive Minor Informalities. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Anticipated project cost is $200,000+.
