The project includes: . Rehabilitation of approximately 50 linear feet of 8" sanitary sewer through cured in place pipe (CIPP) lining. . Installation of approximately 280 linear feet of 8" sanitary sewer main. . Installation of approximately three (3) new concrete sewer manholes. . Inspection and rehabilitation of approximately 242 sanitary sewer laterals from the mainline to within 5' of the building. . Restoration of all disturbed surfaces to pre-construction conditions, or better, as called for in the Plans. . Preparing and executing traffic control plans for all work in roadways. . Perform additional and incidental Work, as called for by the Specifications and Plans. Each proposal must be submitted on forms prescribed by the City and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond and a labor and material payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of contract. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish a statutory public works bond in the amount of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000.00). Evidence of workers' compensation insurance will be required before the work shall commence. The City reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
