Sealed bids will be received for performing the work as set forth in the specifications for the LANDER COUNTY 2024 PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROJECT. The Lander County Commissioners will consider awarding the contract at the regularly scheduled Commissioner's Meeting. To assure consideration, all proposals shall be made on the blank form of the proposal attached to the project specifications. The completed forms shall be included in the bound proposal and shall be enclosed and sealed in an envelope which is addressed to LANDER COUNTY CLERK, 50 State Route 305, Battle Mountain, Nevada 89820, and marked "LANDER COUNTY 2024 PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROJECT." Faxed Proposals will not be accepted. The Principal items of work for the LANDER COUNTY 2024 PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROJECT will consist of (including bid alternates): the cleaning and crack jetting operations of selected roadways and installation of approximately 280,000 SY of Cape Seal operations. No proposals will be considered unless accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bonds in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the LANDER COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT. No proposal will be accepted from a Contractor who is not licensed for this type of work in accordance with the applicable Nevada Revised Statutes and qualified by the Nevada State Contractor's Board prior to bidding of the job. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities in any bid or in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
