Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a museum in New Town, North Dakota. Working plans call for the addition of a museum; for the demolition of a museum; for site work for a museum; and for the renovation of a museum.

The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The new expansion will include: a new main entry and lobby, restrooms, elevator, gift shop, archival storage areas, an archival library, administrative offices with a shared workspace, large conference room for 20-35 people and a small break room kitchenette attached. There are also interior renovations needed in the existing facility to utilize more of the space for exhibits and workshop/maintenance space. The project may include but is not limited to, concrete, masonry, structural steel, rough and finish carpentry, finishes, mechanical and electrical systems, and some site work. The selected firm will act as the single provider of Construction Management at services for this project. A brief pre-construction phase will occur during Summer/Fall 2024 . The construction phase will commence in the Fall of 2024 . Contract terms will be based on AIA Document A133-2009, the agreement between Owner and Construction Manager, with supplemental conditions. The CM will be responsible for providing a monthly progress update to the Three Affiliated Tribes Museum Elders Board Thursday, June 27, 2024 Last day to submit questions and comments by 2 p.m The Museum intends to have a CM selected, and Professional Services Agreement signed by the beginning of October 2024. The selected CM and The Three Affiliated Tribes Museum will then work together to establish a master schedule for the project. It is the goal of the Museum to have the project completed by November 2025. The Three Affiliated Tribes Museum reserves the right to modify this schedule at its discretion The Three Affiliated Tribes Museum team may reject any or all proposals upon a finding it is in the museum’s interest to do so and to rescind the award of any contract at any time before the execution of said contract by all parties with no liability against Three Affiliated Tribes Museum.
