Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in New Town, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and municipal facility.
Phase 3 of the project includes construction of a new City Hall and Police Department Building with offices, city council chambers, municipal court, police department, and supporting spaces totaling approximately 19,000 square feet. Construction is steel framed structure with masonry cavity walls, steel stud partition walls, and flat roof with associated site construction. Project Location: 103 Soo Place, New Town ND. Sealed Lump Sum Bids will be received for the New Town City Hall Replacement Phase 3 Reconstruction Bids shall be prepared in compliance with the Instruction to Bidders and shall be bid as General Contract (all trades) OR Multiple Contracts for the following prime contracts: General Building Construction (general and civil trades), Mechanical Construction, Electrical Construction. Bids not fully complying with the requirements of North Dakota Century Code Chapter 48-01.2 will not be read or considered. Any deficient bid will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the Bidder s Contractor s license and bid security. The Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the bid. Bid security in the form of a bidder s bond shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Substantial Completion is the bid number of calendar days. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
