Any deficient bid will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the Bidder's Contractor's license and bid security. The Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the bid. Bid security in the form of a bidder's bond shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Project Description: Phase 2 of the project includes demolition of the existing civic center, including the city hall, police department, municipal court, and various portions of the site. The existing structure is masonry load bearing wall construction with masonry interior partitions, steel roof deck and joists, and poured concrete slab-on-grade, foundation walls, and footings. Phase 2 will also include fill of the foundation excavation in preparation for new construction in a future phase. Project Location: 103 Soo Place, New Town ND. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Substantial Completion is required within 28 calendar days of completion of asbestos abatement work. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
