As of September 26,2024, project was awarded to Loeffler Construction & Consulting, LLC, but awarded amount is not available. This Project will bring district chilled water to Snyder Hall from existing district chilled water risers located on the 4th floor of Biosciences (this is the building directly south of Snyder Hall). This Project will also build a district chilled water riser within Snyder Hall's mechanical rooms that will connect to each of the (4) air handlers within Snyder Hall, and demo the existing DX lines to each of Snyder's (4) air handlers. University of Minnesota Energy Management and Facility Management Design are the Architect/Engineer of Record for the Project. The Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota (the "University") is requesting Proposals to provide construction services for chilled water connection at Snyder Hall (Building 352) and Biological Sciences (Building 411), both located on the St. Paul campus (the "Project"). Contract Sum The selected Respondent will perform the Work for a Contract Sum that shall be a fixed, lump sum that shall include all costs necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents, including Respondent's overhead and profit. The total construction budget for this Project is $375,000 (current dollars, no escalation). Critical Project Schedule Dates : The University requires the Project to be substantially complete by no later than February 28, 2025. It is critical that air handlers can run using chilled water by April 1, 2025.
