Saving Project...

Renovation of a civil project in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

This project shall consist of the following: Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to add a chemical building addition that will house a relocated sodium hydroxide and fluoride bulk storage, day tank, and dosing equipment. The addition also has an electrical room which houses new MCC and VFDs for the replacement of 3 existing high service pumps with 2 new larger 150 horsepower vertical turbine high service pumps. Project also includes replacement of lime slaker, carbon dioxide feed panel, chemical feed pumps, chemical storage tanks, and replacement of valves, sensors, and electrical equipment to different Plant processes to bring the Plant into automatic operation via SCADA, together with related subsidiary and incidental work in accordance with the plans and specifications. SCADA programming and new controls and panels are required and shall be coordinated with the Phase I systems ENGINEER'S OPINION OF PROBABLE COST: $2,786,000.00 COMPLETION DATE: Substantial Completion: January 16, 2026 Final Completion: February 13, 2026 Work under the proposed Contract Documents shall be commenced upon written Notice to Proceed to be issued on or before October 7, 2024 and shall be substantially complete by January 16, 2026 and final completion and ready for operation on or before February 13, 2026, CERTIFIED CHECK OR BID BOND: See Invitation to Bid in Project Manual SITE VISIT PRIOR TO BIDDING UPON REQUEST Contact Tom Orthel Plant Superintendent P: (712) 336-1871 Tom.splwater@mediacombb.ne
