Edmundson Park needs overall maintenance and refurbishing preformed on existing features at the park that includes, but is not limited, to masonry work on limestone in various locations. The work includes entryways, shelters, and steps and existing structures at the park. This work includes removal of deteriorated stone and replacement of new limestone, upkeep and maintenance on the masonry and on existing structures. This work will be ongoing until all of the work is repaired. This work has an anticipated 5 year maintenance cycle. The park has a total of 32 WPA original masonry dating back to 1936 to 1938, these include stone entry gates, stone shelter houses, arched stone bridges and massive stone "ovens". FY24 - Shelter 'A' stonework and fireplace by Shelter 'B'; FY24 includes an additional $6,500 for work contracted in FY23 but paid FY24 FY25 - Shelter 'D' restroom steps, and masonry work for Shelter 'D' steps at monument Future - Shelter 'D' concrete steps, masonry work at monument, arched bridges, fireplaces, existing structures This project is included in the City's FY 2025-2029 capital Improvement program (CIP).
