Grant County, South Dakota invites sealed bids for individual or combined Bid Packages for the Courthouse Elevator and Remodeling Project, in accordance with bidding documents prepared by Rice-Stromgren Architects, Inc. Bids will be received for individual or combined Bid Packages. This is a Construction Management At-Risk (CMAR) Project. All contracts will be with Hasslen Construction Company, Inc., (HCC), the CMAR. Each Bid submitted in excess of $50,000 shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's Bid price in the form of a certified or bank check issued by either a state or a national bank, or a bid bond for five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Such bond is to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota. Bid Bond is a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract with CMAR.
