Site work and paving for a road / highway in West Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The 2024 Paving Project includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a 19.0 mm asphalt overlay along a section of Garrett Road and a full depth pavement repair along a section of Oak Spring Road. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 15% Maintenance Bond for the project. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. All bids must be accompanied by a certifed check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to West Bethlehem Township. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by West Bethlehem Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifcations of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract. West Bethlehem Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the 2024 Paving Project.
