Project. Description: The work to be performed under these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the 47th Place WT Project. This project intends to repair pavement, construct sidewalks and curb ramps on 47th Pl W between Harbour Pointe Blvd and 47th Ave W within the City of Mukilteo. Specific work includes, but is not limited to: pavement grinding, HMA overlay, full depth pavement repair where needed, curb ramp upgrades to comply with ADA requirements, restriping, and upgraded signage to comply with MUTCD standards. Channelization may also be modified to include bicycle lanes, following an evaluation to determine community desire for this change. Schedule B includes pavement repair, overlay, striping and other work on 106th St SW between 47th Pl W and Mukilteo Speedway. Schedule C is a rapid flashing beacon crossing 47th Pl W. The estimated cost for this project is in a range of $700,000 to $975,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Pre-Bid Meeting: No pre-bid site inspection or meeting is scheduled. Workers performing work in conjunction with the project shall receive the prevailing rate of wage pursuant to the Prevailing Wages on Public Works Act (Chapter 39.12 RCW) Bid Bond Required: Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount ofsuch bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Mukilteo.
