Site work for a road / highway in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The City of Fort Morgan is accepting sealed Proposals for Design and Engineering for New Mast Arm Traffic Signals at East Railroad Avenue and Sherman Street for the construction/installation of four mast arm traffic signals. All questions must be in writing and addressed to Jim Willis, Streets Superintendent, at jim.willis@cityoffortmorgan.com. The cutoff date and time for questions is August 22, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. It is the responsibility of prospective bidders to contact Jim Willis at (970) 542-3987 to verify receipt of questions. It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to check the website regularly for any and all updates and additional documentation that may be posted. Bids must be properly signed, and any addendums acknowledged, by an authorized representative of the company with the legal capacity to bind the company to the contractual agreement. Only Bids properly received will be accepted. The Proposals will not be opened publicly as the City intends to review the Proposals within ten (10) days of the opening of the submitted RFP response. The City of Fort Morgan reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, to make multiple awards, partial awards, award by types, or item by item, whichever may be most advantageous to the City of Fort Morgan. Upon selection, the City will issue a Notice of Award and a contract must be completed and signed by all parties concerned within ten days of issuance of the Notice of Award. If this date is not met, the City may elect to cancel the Notice of Award (if the delay is not the fault of the City). The City reserves the right to incorporate standard contract provisions into any contract as a result of a Proposal submitted in response to the RFP. The City of Fort Morgan is seeking a fee proposal from an engineering firm with qualified and experienced civil engineers to provide services in 2024 for the design and engineering of New Mast Arm Traffic Signals for the East Railroad Avenue and Sherman Street intersection project as depicted in the attachment provided as a part of this RFP. Construction of the project is anticipated to occur in 2025. All design, engineering, and other related work are required to meet all federal, state and local codes and standards to complete the related site work. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
