Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Mill Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Questions shall be sent to John Brencic via email at jbrencic@cityofmillvalley.org. Questions shall be received prior to 5:00 PM on August 14, 2024. Description Provide all materials, labor, and equipment to install two reinforced concrete footings to support a new pedestrian bridge (by others). Foundations shall be constructed per attached concrete footing details. Specified concrete compressive strength shall be 2500 psi minimum. Contractor shall allow 48 hours once concrete forms are complete for Engineer to inspect prior to placing concrete. Contractor is responsible for placing cast-in-place anchor bolts coordinated with base plate hole locations consistent with final bridge layout. Install chain link fence with canvas across stream to catch any materials/tools when bridge is being installed. Bridge will be delivered fully assembled. Upon arrival, lift bridge off trailer, set in place and make final connections. Jobsite is located at SLP 340, directly across the street from 424 W Blithedale Ave, Mill Valley.
