Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mill Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Project Description: As outlined in the schedule of bid items, this work includes, but is not limited to, removal or modification of existing roadway wood and metal barrier; installing Midwest Guardrail System and custom metal barrier; constructing traffic and pedestrian railing; traffic control; concrete work; and all other work related to replacing existing roadway barrier as specified in the Special Provisions, and as directed by the Director of Public Works/City Engineer. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount payable to the City of Mill Valley shall accompany the Proposal. The Performance Bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount bid by the Contractor in his proposal. The Payment Bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount bid by the Contractor in his proposal. The Engineers Estimate for this project is $1,100,000 (Rounded to the nearest $10,000). The City of Mill Valley reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the right to waive any irregularities.
