Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Westchester, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
All questions shall be submitted in writing to John LaPaglia, PE (CBBEL) at jlapaglia@cbbel.com no later than two (2) days prior to the bid opening. The proposed work is officially known as "2024 MFT Fall Concrete Restoration Program" and further described as sidewalk removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, and landscape restoration at various locations within the Village of Westchester. All work shall be constructed with the use of MFT Funds. Est. Value Notes: $100,000 Est. Completion Date: Nov. 1, 2024 Site Directions: Various locations throughout the Village of Westchester as determined by the Village prior to construction. All work to be within Village ROW. Pre-Qualification: Yes Description. This work shall consist of the restoration of all landscaped areas with 4 of Topsoil, Seeding IDOT Class 1A, and Erosion Control Blanket, and shall be performed in accordance with Sections 211, 250, and 251 of the Standard Specifications. The Contractor shall repair all areas disturbed from the proposed scope of work; locations where parkways were disturbed by Village forces shall be repaired separately by the Village. This work will not be measured or paid for separately, but shall be included in the cost of the associated pay item. Final payment will be held for Landscape Restoration work has been completed and seed has established to (at least) 75%.
