Renovation of a fire / police facility in Westchester, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
This project generally consists of the removal of existing air handling units and the installation of new air handling units; and all other related appurtenances and accessories necessary to complete the Work. Questions regarding documents, discrepancies, omissions, or intent of the Specifications or Drawings shall be submitted in writing to Owner at least ten (10) days prior to opening of Bids to provide time for issuing and forwarding an Addendum. Any interpretation of the Contract Documents will be made only by Addendum duly issued or delivered by the Owner to each person receiving a set of Contract Documents. The Owner will not be responsible for any other explanations or interpretations of the Contract Documents. Failure on the part of the prospective Bidder to receive a written interpretation prior to the time of bid opening will not be grounds for withdrawal of his/her proposal. The Bidder shall acknowledge receipt of each Addendum issued in the space so provided in the Bid Form. Oral explanations will not be binding.
