Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fife, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project will grind and inlay the existing asphalt pavement on Pacific Highway E. from Willow Road E. to 54th Ave E. The project will have spot subgrade repairs as needed. The project will include ADA improvements including upgrading push buttons at the 51st Avenue E. and 52nd Avenue E. intersections and pedestrian countdown timers. Major features include: Grind and inlay of asphalt pavement ADA and pedestrian improvements Environmental documentation and preparation of permit applications Selection of firms will be based on the following criteria: Qualifications of Project Manager and key personnel and their experience with PS&E for municipal projects. Prior experience in successfully completing similar projects. Demonstrated knowledge of federal funding audits and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements. Approach to the project and ability to meet schedule. Familiarity with City of Fife standards and procedures. Familiarity with Local Agency Guidelines (LAG) and FHWA standards and requirements. This federally funded project has EEO, ADA and Civil Rights requirements that must be adhered to. The project has a 16% DBE goal. Any questions should be directed to Greg Vigoren at 253-896-8214.
