Interstate 5 Port of Tacoma Road Interchange - Phase 2a Reconstructs the Existing Northbound Off Ramp and on Ramp to Connect to New Intersections With Port of Tacoma Road and 34th Avenue East. The Phase 2a Project Also Adds a New Bridge on 34th Avenue East Over I-5 Northbound and Southbound. The Existing Waterline Along 34th Avenue East Will Be Extended Across the New Bridge Structure and Over I-5 as Part of the Project. This Project Has a Federal Small Business Enterprise (Fsbe) Goal of 13%. Deadline for Bidder Questions is 1:00 P.m. On April 2, 2026, Eight (8) Calendar Days Prior to Bid Opening. All Bid Proposals Shall Be Submitted on the Prescribed Bid Forms and in the Manner as Stated in This Invitation and in the Bid Document and Said Bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the Form of Cash, Cashier's Check, Certified Check, Postal Money Order, or a Surety Bond to the City of Fife in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount of the Bid. Bid Bonds Submitted on Other Than the Bond Form Provided by the City May Be Subject to Rejection. Faxed Bids and/or Surety Bond Will Not Be Accepted. The City of Fife Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Irregularities in the Bid or in the Bidding. No Bidder May Withdraw His Proposal After 1:00 P.m.
