Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project consists of a Base Bid which includes the Contractor performing approximately 4,000 square yards of subgrade preparation, aggregate base course and asphalt concrete pavement installation at Dick Samp Park. This project requires contractor to supply, haul, install, grade and compact subgrade and base material of 4" A/B material, supply, haul, install and compact of 2" thick hot mix asphalt concrete pavement over the area as described herein. Subgrade preparation, aggregate base course, asphalt concrete pavement installation will be per Lake Havasu City Specifications. All excess material will be hauled away and disposed of by the Contractor and will be considered incidental to the project. Any damage to the existing concrete islands shall be repaired by the Contractor and will be considered incidental to the project. The contractor will be responsible for scheduling this project with the City Representative in a time frame not to exceed 90 calendar days. Work will require the contractor to provide the necessary labor; supervision; supply, hauling, installation of all necessary materials and other related materials; mobilization; demobilization; tools and equipment; insurance and Workers' Compensation as required for saw cutting as specified in this ITB. Any asphalt work that is deemed unacceptable by the City Representative shall be removed and replaced at the contractors' expense. It is anticipated that this work will begin in October/November 2024. It shall be understood that Lake Havasu City is under no obligation to award the project. The contractor must supply all A/B base material for final grade and supply the Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete for this project.
