Reference Number 0000362032 Delivery Point: Gypsum, CO The Town of Gypsum (Town) is launching a planning and design effort to convert US 6, between the existing I-70 Interchange and Valley Road (Segment 1), from a single lane to a two lane roadway. It is anticipated that the project will be issued in a series of contracts for the specific defined scope items as the project evolves. At this time, the Town is seeking proposals for overall corridor concept development and preliminary design focusing primarily on the Union Pacific Railroad underpass, the Railroad Avenue intersection, Gypsum Creek Bridge and pedestrian movement throughout the corridor. Project Location: The project is located on US 6 between MM 142 and 142.7 in the Town of Gypsum. The limits of the project on the north will include the existing Exit 140 Interchange. The project will continue south to the Valley Road Intersection and tie to the proposed roundabout improvements at this location.
