Traffic Signal Improvements - Route 5 and Amazon Driveway o Modifications to existing traffic controller o Modifications/Replacement of existing traffic signal heads and cabling o Replacement of Existing Traffic Signage o Modifications to Existing Pavement Markings at the Intersection of Route 5 and Amazon Driveway o Modifications to Existing Pavement Markings at the Intersection of Route 5/22 and Valley Service Road o The addition of stop signs and reworking pavement markings at the intersection of the Amazon driveway and Valley Service Road. o Materials from the attached sales order from East Coast Sign & Supply are available for pickup at the North Haven Police Department located at 8 Linsley Street, North Haven, CT 06473 Unless otherwise stated in the Invitation to Bid, each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond issued by a surety company authorized to do business in Connecticut or by a cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Town of North Haven, Connecticut. The amount of the bid deposit shall be 10% of the total base bid unless otherwise specified. The successful bidder must supply a performance bond for the full amount of the estimated total bid. The above Scope of Work, shall be completed no later than ninety (90) days after the award of the Contract. Extension of work related to Bid Alternates or changes in the bid shall be agreed upon by the Town of North Haven and the successful Bidder. The Director of Administration/Procurement reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects in same, or to choose to make purchases other than strictly in accordance with price considerations, and/or to choose other than the lowest bidder, if it be deemed in the best interest of the Town of North Haven.
