The bid will be for removal of existing pavement, boat launch, seawall and related items; Construction of new accessible kayak launch, parking lot, Bioretention areas, Landscape restoration and other related items of work. The approximate quantities for the major items of work involved in this project are as follows: Base Bid o HMA Pavement 390 Syd o Curb and Gutter 200 Ft o Pavement Removal 1150 Syd o Bioretention Areas 3 Ea o Drainage Structures 11 Ea o Concrete Sidewalk 2,100 Sft o 4" Perforated Dual Wall HDPE 225 Ft o 6" and 8" Dual Wall HDPE 140 Ft o Deciduous Tree Planting 7 Ea o Kayak Launch (complete assembly) 1 Ea Bids shall be on a lump sum basis for items of work, as specified. Bids shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided by the Engineer. Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or a Bid Bond, executed by the bidder and a surety company, for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid, payable to City of Marysville, shall be submitted with each bid. The City of Marysville reserves the right to accept any Bid, to reject any Bid, and to waive irregularities in Bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Maintenance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after receipt. Contract Documents will be shipped for an additional $15.00.
