Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marysville, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The bid will be for removal of approximately 1,250 feet of concrete street and full-depth reconstruction with aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter, and asphalt pavement, along with partial concrete driveway replacement, lawn restoration and other related items of work. The approximate quantities for the major items of work involved in this project are as follows: o Pavement Removal 4,450 Syd o Aggregate Base 4,000 Syd o Concrete Curb and Gutter 2,480 Feet o Concrete Drive Approach 720 Syd o HMA, 5EL 440 Ton o HMA, 4EL 660 Ton o Lawn Restoration 2,000 Syd Bids shall be on a unit price basis for items of work, as specified. Bids shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided by the Engineer. Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or a Bid Bond, executed by the bidder and a surety company, for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid, payable to City of Marysville, shall be submitted with each bid. The City of Marysville reserves the right to accept any Bid, to reject any Bid, and to waive irregularities in Bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Maintenance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after receipt. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
