Reference Number: 0000360801 The City is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms for the completion of the Hydrologic & Hydraulic Study (H&H Study), including a stormwater management plan and model. The H&H Study will encompass the entire Box Elder corporate limits, Ellsworth Air Force Base contributions to the Box Elder drainageways and other adjacent county areas that the City determines to be appropriate for inclusion. Currently, developers and engineers are designing infrastructure from drainage plans developed for specific areas of development without forethought to upstream and downstream development. The H&H Study must be completed and implemented to promote orderly growth and to protect vital drainage routes. The H&H Study will identify major drainage routes to be protected as development occurs and identify existing and future drainage facilities that are needed to adequately manage stormwater runoff from a basin-wide perspective.
