This work shall be performed on an on-call basis for emergency material removal (e.g., snow, debris - mud and other debris from weather or other emergency events, etc.) from various roadways and other impacted areas in and around the City of Box Elder. The purpose of this contract is to establish the framework for "on-call" material removal services to be used in emergency situations (i.e., situations where the City of Box Elder resources are unable to provide the level of service required for City operations). The primary intent of this contract will be snow removal. However, there may be other emergency situations which arise involving other material. This contract will expire on December 31, 2025. There are two option years available beyond the base year which will be awarded separately at the discretion of the City. The option year proposals shall be based on an escalation percentage from the original base year unit prices. Due to the service nature of the contract, there will be no proposal security requirement. The Owner may make awards from this instrument to more than one vendor. Bids may not be withdrawn prior to thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Owner will award the bid within thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Owner has the right to reject any and all bids.
