Question Deadline 10/11/2024 at 5:00 PM ET For technical questions regarding this project, please submit questions in writing to Randy Comer at randyco@cityofws.org for response to all by addendum. End of Question Period Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. 100% Performance & Payment Bonds will be required. Additionally, all prime contractors and subcontractors are required to be NCDOT prequalified at time of bid. Summary of Work: Construct construction of sidewalks and other pedestrian improvements along Robinhood Road in Winston-Salem, NC involving grading, drainage, paving, curb & gutter, and sidewalks. Construction time is estimated to be 6 months from NTP around early March 2025 with LDs of $700/day. This contract is partially federally funded and NCDOT has oversight; therefore, Davis-Bacon wages apply, with Debarment, Anti-Lobbying, Gift Ban, and other specific forms that must be submitted with a bid. Compliance with NCDOT's DBE program is required on this contract. A combined DBE subcontracting goal of 5% has been established for this project. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Interested bidders are required to reach out directly to the Owner to obtain a set of the bidding documents.
