As of July 28, 2025, this project is under construction. Summary of Work: Construct construction of sidewalks and other pedestrian improvements along Robinhood Road in Winston-Salem, NC involving grading, drainage, paving, curb & gutter, and sidewalks. Construction time is estimated to be 6 months from NTP around early April 2025 with LDs of $700/day All work will be in accordance with the plans and specifications, which are available electronically by contacting Catherine Knisley at catherinek@cityofws.org during normal business hours. End of Question Period is 5:00 PM, January 8, 2025. This contract is partially federally funded and NCDOT has oversight; therefore, Davis-Bacon wages apply, with Debarment, Anti-Lobbying, Gift Ban, and other specific forms that must be submitted with a bid. Compliance with NCDOT's DBE program is required on this contract. A combined DBE subcontracting goal of 5% has been established for this project. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. 100% Performance & Payment Bonds will be required. Additionally, all prime contractors and subcontractors are required to be NCDOT prequalified at time of bid!
