Bidders are invited to submit sealed bids for the replacement of approximately 27,000 square feet of concrete panels in the West Canal in accordance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and District-supplied specifications. This also equates to approximately 150 unreinforced concrete panels. Bidders will comply with any applicable laws of the State of Washington pertaining to the performance of public works contracts, including compliance with laws pertaining to prevailing wages on public works contracts. All work within the canal prism related to this contract must be completed by March 10, 2025. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in certified or cashier s check or bid bond on District form and in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and if Successful Bidder fails to enter into the contract within the time specified in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents and be required to sign the Non-Collusion and Debarment Affidavit, & Certification of Compliance with Wage Payment Statutes as found in the Bidding Documents. In order to submit a Bid on public work, Bidders and their Subcontractors shall hold such licenses and registrations as required by State Statutes and Codes and federal and local Laws and Regulations. Bidders will be required to comply with State of Washington RCW 39.30.060 relating to identification of Subcontractors. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities as informalities.
