Renovation of a civil project in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Bids must be submitted on the Bid Forms provided in the Bidding Documents Package and be accompanied by the bidder's certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. A performance and payment bond will be required of the successful bidder. The successful bidder will also be required to submit a certificate of insurance for worker's compensation. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Joint Sewer Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, when it is determined in the best interest of the Joint Sewer Board to do so, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to determine the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and to award the contract on that basis. All Bidders must agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the OWNER for any damage or claim brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Bidders seek any recourse of any kind against OWNER because of such rejections. The filing of any Bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions. Bidders are informed that pursuant to Section 285.530, RSMo, as a condition of the award of any contract in excess of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), the successful bidder shall, by sworn affidavit and provision of documentation, affirm its enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection to the contracted services. Successful bidders shall also sign an affidavit affirming that it does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien in connection to the contracted services. Contractor acknowledges that Section 285.530 RSMo, prohibits any business entity or employer from knowingly employing, hiring for employment, or continuing to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work within the state of Missouri. Contractor therefore covenants that it is not knowingly in violation of subsection 1 of Section 285.530 RSMo, and that it will not knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ any unauthorized aliens to perform work on the Project, and that its employees are lawfully eligible to work in the United States. Pursuant to Missouri Statute RSMo. 285.530(1), no business entity or employer shall knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work within the State of Missouri. As a condition for the award of any contract or grant in excess of five-thousand dollars ($5,000.00) by the Cities of Lake Ozark & Osage Beach Joint Sewer Board to a business entity, the business entity shall by sworn affidavit and provision of documentation, affirm its enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to employees working in connection with the contracted services; and sign an affidavit affirming that it does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien in connection with the contracted services. Set up; remove all foreign matter, loose caulk or paint. 2. Repair any blocks, mortar joints and flashing that need repaired. 3. Pressure wash all exterior walls before painting to assure bonding of new paint. 4. Spray or roll on paint, whichever is the preferred method for the paint being used. 5. Painters must apply Sherwin Williams Conflex XL Elastomeric coating. 6. Contractors must furnish all equipment, paint and supplies. 7. Pressure wash and coat/seal wooden outbuilding in front of Administration Building with Thompson's Water Seal or similar approved product.
