Scope of Work: This project shall include the construction of a 30'x 40' Timber Frame Pavilion. All posts, beams, rafters, knee braces and ridge beam will be made of resawn red cedar. Metal roof will be a Hunter Green or acceptable like color along with 5" gutters and 2"x 3" downspouts to match. The Village Pavilion will be built on a previously constructed concrete pad on Lot 840 adjacent to the Four Seasons Village Hall Parking lot. Contact the Village Clerks office at 573-365-3833 or stop by Village Hall to receive a Complete Bid Packet. The bid proposal shall be made on a form of proposal, which will be provided by the Village. And delivered in a sealed envelope and be accompanied by the Bidder's Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid and deposited in the office of the Village Clerk on or before the time specified above. The Village reserves the right to require the successful Bidder to file proof of his ability to properly execute the project together with his record of successful completion of similar projects. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals submitted, or to advertise for new bids. The Village reserves the right to defer the acceptance of any proposal and the execution of a contract for a period not exceeding thirty (30) days after the date of opening of the bids. The successful Bidder to whom the Contract has been awarded shall sign and return the Contract and other required certificates and documents within ten (10) days after the date of receipt of the award of the contract. The successful Bidder and all Subcontractors are required to have a valid Business License on file with the Village to work within the Village limits. Each Contactor is responsible for the $20.00 license fee per business. They must also submit copies and continue to carry workmen's compensation insurance, public and private liability and property damage insurance and builders risk insurance in the specified amounts for the duration of the contract. The Contractor shall commence work within seven (7) days after the date of written notice from the Village Clerk to begin work and shall complete all work no later than October 24, 2025.
