Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and permits to upgrade the energy efficiency of one residence by air sealing, insulating, and installing a heat pump at the Department's Soos Creek Hatchery of site residence located at 33819 134th Pl SE, Auburn, Washington 98092, GPS Coordinates 47.2989, -122.1639, in King County. The goal of this work is to improve the energy efficiency of the Soos Creek Hatchery's off-site residence in Auburn, Washington. Bid Item 1: Air Seal and Insulate. Air Seal all cracks, gaps, and penetrations throughout residence. Air-seal and insulate the laundry chute. Do this from the garage attic side. Air Seal fireplace to ensure the system is airtight. Install a cap with wire mesh over the chimney top to keep out rain and birds. Air seal all accessible ducting system connections, elbows, sleeves, and boots. Air seal all exterior wall outlets and switch plate receptacles. Replace all weatherstripping around all exterior doors. Bid Item 2: Install Heat Pump. Remove existing furnace and install a 2.5-ton electric heat pump system. Include all permits, labor, materials, and equipment necessary and incidental for a complete and operational system.
