Site work and paving for a road / highway in East Hampton, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The Streetscape Improvements of The Village Center. contract value of $750,000 The Town of East Hampton, Connecticut is soliciting sealed bids for The Streetscape Improvements of The Village Center. This construction work is to begin in Spring 2025. This project generally consists of street improvements for approximately 1,700 linear feet along Main Street and Summit Street, portions of which are also CT Route 196. Work included is the removal of existing curbs and replacement with new granite curbing, new catch basin tops, construction of patterned concrete sidewalks and ramps with a shelf of brick pavers as well as concrete patio areas. Also included are renovated landscaped areas, new street trees and the installation of new benches. A portion of the roadways will require a 2" mill and pave which is to be completed by others. New pavement markings including thermoplastic patterned crosswalks will be installed. These markings will require coordination with the paving contractor to schedule this work. Other miscellaneous site work including regrading and turf restoration will be completed. The work described above includes furnishing and installing all materials into the project as well as performing or providing all labor, supervision, equipment and services unless otherwise noted within the bid documents. A satisfactory Bid Bond or Certified Check, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bid Bond shall be made payable to Town of East Hampton and shall be properly executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties. All bonds must be from sureties registered in the State of Connecticut. This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including non-discrimination statutes and set-aside requirements. See CHRO Requirements in Contract Documents. The Town of East Hampton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all options, bids or proposals, to waive any technicality in any bid or part thereof, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of East Hampton.
