Renovation of an educational facility in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Replacement of TWO (2) Air Handling Units (AHU #1 & #2), One (1) Heat Exchanger and associated piping, ductwork as well as DDC Controls for new equipment/systems. Alternate bid #1 for work associated with AHU #3. Alternate bid #2 for work associated with AHU #4. Estimated project duration: 350 calendar days Scope: 1. Provide Shop Drawings, Product Data, and Samples to establish the actual detailof manufactured and fabricated Work as required by Division 02 through 49. a. Shop Drawings shall be specific to the work of this project and shall depict all surrounding construction. Manufacturers standard shop drawings and installation details which have not been adapted to the specific conditions of the work are not acceptable and will be rejected. The preparation and submission of Coordination Drawings does not substitute for shop drawings required by other section of this document. b. Clearly delineate work and materials to be provided by others and coordinate the provision of that work and materials through the Contractor. Submit only one product/manufacturer per submitted item. c. Shop drawings shall identify all materials, components and/or equipment which is required to provide a complete, functional and code conforming installation. d. Where conditions shown on shop drawings vary from those shown or specified in the Contract Documents, the proposed deviations shall be clearly identified and explained within the submittal.
