The work consists of procurement, delivery and installation of new modular building as required The project is a public works project subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). To be qualified for this project, a contractor must be registered with the DIR. In addition, pursuant to prevailing wage laws, copies of the prevailing wage rates are on file at the District's principal office and are available on request Question Deadline 10/21/2024 at 5:00 PM PT Questions regarding this project should be directed in writing to the Mike Stemple no later than by emailing mstemple@eid.org El Dorado Irrigation District (District), is a Special District organized and existing under the California Irrigation District Law (Water Code 20500, et seq.), hereby gives notice that it is now accepting bids from qualified builders for a new modular building to be located at our Sly Park, Reservoir A, complex in Pollock Pines, CA 95726, pricing is to include the building, delivery and utility hookup. El Dorado Hills Irrigation District, "Reservoir A", 5588 Sly Park Road, Pollock Pines, CA. The new modular building shall be ready for installation per the conceptual design include in this scope of work. The building shall be constructed in accordance to the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Act of 1974 and installed under the provisions of Health and Safety Code Section 18551 or the California Code of Regulations, Title 25, please indicate the applicability of these two provisions in your bid response. Responses shall include a dimensional floor plan, door and window locations & sizes, location of plumbing fixtures, location and type of HVAC system and electrical panels include size. Include a copy of the set down plan or tie down specifications showing chassis pier locations, marriage line pier locations and recommend pier layout. 95726. 1. The vendor shall include all expenses necessary to fully complete modular single wide building per conceptual design. Bidder/Manufacturer shall transport modular to site including all escorts and permits required. Manufacturer shall provide all required labor, materials, tools and equipment to setup and install the modular building to include hook up to the District fed utilities. 2. The District estimated building size is 14' by 60'. The building and shall include two dens/bedrooms (no closets), kitchen and general open area, divider wall with windows, cabinets per wall mounted plans, and & restroom with (2) bath/shower, utility room for washer and dryer, and Class A roof. The sample layout for modular building is shown in Exhibit 1. Each bidder shall include the model most adaptable unit to the layout concept. 3. Modular building shall meet Building Codes and current Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Codes, and as necessary fire sprinkler codes for the El Dorado County. 4. Modular building shall be ADA-Compliant and all meet California OSHA Architectural Accessibility Standards. Engineered and prefabricated aluminum decks, steps and ADA compliant ramps shall be included. (1) ramp as required. Decks, steps and ramps to be installed directly on grade. 5. Modular building shall include a certified and approved stamp by Housing and Community Development of the State of California as required. 6. Seismic bracing will conform to the California Building Code is required for modular buildings for the site. 7. Bidder/Manufacturer shall furnish and install treated wood framing attached to the underside of the building to grade. Bottom plate to be anchored per industry standards. Face material shall be pressure treated panel siding (skirting). Pad and pier anchoring, shall be provided by Bidder/Manufacturer. 8. Modular building shall be ready for connection with water, sewer, and electric hookup. The District shall provide water, wastewater, electric and telecommunication/network service to Modular Office Trailer as required. All utility connections to building from service lines shall be single point. 9. Bidder/Manufacturer shall include pricing to place and hook up utilities of completed unit on the District provided pier framework provided and clean-up site and building after installation, including any touch up work needed as determined by District. 10. Electrical load requirements will need to meet the requirements of a fully contained modular unit to include a full kitchen with appliances, including a washer and dryer and standard HVAC unit.
